Any teaching about Jesus or His ways, works, or people presents an opportunity to denominations to quarrel. Denominations are not evil. Division within the Church of Jesus is harmful, though. To “denominate” something simply means to “name” it. “Nomine” is the Latin word that we would translate as “name” in English. Perhaps you have heard some theologian call certain people “nominal Christians”. That means that the people are believed to be Christian only in “name”, not in actuality; not in char…

From Tragedy to Triumph … My Testimony
Being able to write this testimony and this book is a miracle only by the grace of our Lord. On Saturday morning December 6, 2003 my youngest daughter and I were leaving to go and pick up my son who had spent the night before with his Dad.…

Many people have come into my life throughout these past 4 years. Many have asked me several times exactly what motivated me to write this book. There have been so many questions and even some speculations about my motives.
I wanted to take this time to finally discuss my passion not just for the blessing to be called an 'author', but also to be called a 'Scribe' of the Lord's.
I have always possessed the passion to write. However, is wasn't until the early summer of 2005…

Chuck D. Pierce:
Prophetic Word: "Raise Up Your Slack Hands!" Plus "Days 11-18 Prayer Guide to Revamp and Move Forward!"
So much has happened since the events of September 11, eight years ago. The tragedy of September 11, 2001, is still vivid in the minds and hearts of the world. The collapse of the World Trade Center Towers rearranged the course of this nation and world as we knew it. This terrorist act was a slam against God's covenant plan in the earth. We must realize the wars of the heaven…

Government was invented by Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He, from the time of Adam, intended to be the King of the earth, with humans co-operating with Him in His government. He is a King: from everlasting, unto everlasting.
In reading the record Matthew left of the earthly ministry of Jesus, it is very easy to notice that almost all of the teaching Jesus did related to the Kingdom of Heaven. Sometimes He spoke of the Kingdom of God, and used the phrases interchangeably.…

We have been faced with a tragedy which turned into a miracle over the last 3 weeks. A young man at our church, Justin Crumbley, whom I've know since he was 3 years old died on October 31st. He was DOA at Northside Hospital here in Altanta, GA. They worked on him for near 20 minutes. We're not sure how long he was dead before he arrived. It’s possible he was gone for a total time of; 45 min. to an hour. They were able to sustain life, and they put him on life support and sent him to a CCU room s…

When he was asked what was the most important of the commands, Jesus said we are to "Love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength… and our neighbor as ourselves…"
A way of capturing Jesus’ call to live in constant love of God and our neighbor is to ask, ‘What is the beginning of loving God and others?’ Jesus models in each of his encounters with people that the beginning of love is the simple act of noticing. A noticing heart is one that lays its own agenda aside in order to

Hi, fellow Pilgrims --
This will be a really short post, because I maintain an active blog on Blogspot. I know, it's managed by those fiends at Google, but it wasn't when I signed up and now I have too much stuff up there to just walk away.
And it's GOOD stuff, in my opinion anyway. So please check it out:

I'm a fairly smart guy and I've got the degrees to prove it, so when I was in a seminar and the presenter made the assertion, "What you know doesn't really matter," well, it got my dander up and at least in my head I crossed my arms and thought, "That's bunk."

I Corinthians 4:20 "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."
Sometimes our dignified and sophisticated approaches to education yield poorer results than more primitive and applied methods. When Jesus said, "Repent and believe the good news," it was an invitation to become students of the Master. Those who res

Let it not be that I speak to please me, for then I shall always understand the possibilities of misery, and all because I didn't speak with the love of He, who shares His unconditonally, for regardless to rather I can speak rather earthly or like angels, With out love, my voice will be like a sounding brass or clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1
