Blind mountaineer Erik Weihenmayer guides blind teenagers across the Andes mountains into the Inca heartland of Peru to show that blindness is not a handicap. Erik Weihenmayer was the first blind man to reach the summit Mount Everest in 2001. Erik's adventure was filmed by Michael Brown and this video documentary is titled "Farther Than the Eye can See". You can also check out Erik in the film "BlindSight" a film by the Dutch documentary filmmaker Bernd Out. The BlindSight film stars Mt. Everest climbers Erik Weihenmayer, Jeff Evans, Eric Alexander and blind teenagers Terry Garrett, Alysha Jeans and Paul Jenkins.
